Eliot Terborgh ’61
Eliot Terborgh ’61 is a longtime donor to Pennington, with more than 37 consecutive years of support, and became a member of the Francis Harvey Green Society in 2018 when he made his planned gift—making the School a beneficiary of an IRA.
Terborgh’s decision to make a planned gift came from his deep gratitude for the impact his Pennington experience had in his life and career. He saw his gift as a chance to give back and provide the same type of life-changing opportunity to future generations of students. He says, “As I look back, there is no question that Pennington made a huge difference in my life by boosting my confidence and giving me the skills and academic grounding that allowed me to excel in college and beyond. I wanted to ensure that others can experience the same quality education that was so instrumental to my personal and professional success. I decided to make a planned gift to make a lasting impact on the School’s future.”
At Pennington, Terborgh has also served as a volunteer leader on the Alumni Association Board and is a Class Agent volunteer—helping to organize his class reunions. He lives with his wife Cris in Atherton, California, and has had a long career as a senior executive and entrepreneur in the wireless technology industry. He currently serves as CFO for Mobile Health, a Bay Area company focused on employer health rewards and education.
