Erica DeKranes ’10

Erica DeKranes’10 joined the Francis Harvey Green Society in 2020 when she made a bequest provision for Pennington as part of her estate planning. Erica is an engaged and generous alumna and has also served as the assistant director of the Pennington Fund. In making her planned gift, Erica says, “Pennington, as both a school and as a community, is an important part of my life. Although I am still in the early years of my professional life, joining the Francis Harvey Green Society has given me a way to make a big impact and express my deep gratitude for all that Pennington has done for me—and so many others.”

Erica’s passion for philanthropy, education, politics, and social justice has led her into a burgeoning career in fundraising and nonprofit management where she currently serves as a Development Officer at Vision Spring, an international group that works to provide vision care globally to low-income communities. She is a graduate of the University of St Andrews and has her master’s degree in global affairs from New York University. She lives in Allentown, New Jersey, where she also serves on Borough Council.
